| Portrait/SeriesPhoto workshop with Bettina Flitner A number of beautiful individual portraits do not necessarily add up to a good portrait series. Every portrait series needs a visual concept which holds it together. Therefore, the development of a thematic and visual concept should be at the beginning of every work of photographical portraits. This workshop deals with the making of portraits of people on the one hand and with creating a series of portraits on the other hand. Each series of portraits should consist of five to ten pictures of individuals which are connected by a theme. Such themes can be professional groups, groups of friends, social or ethnic connections or people who are connected by a resembling fate or a mutual experience. The only preliminary is that they should not be friends or close acquaintances of the photographer.
